pawd. is free to use. we generate revenue through rewarded advertising — short ads users can choose to watch to earn shelter fund credit. a meaningful share of all ad revenue goes directly to animal shelters through the shelter fund.
the donation mechanic is built into the gesture itself. when you find a pet you love, swipe down on their photo — that's the "swipe down." it sends $0.25 from your shelter fund balance to the specific shelter caring for that animal. no forms, no friction, no rounding up at checkout.
