???
about the app
pawd. is a free iOS app that matches you with adoptable pets based on your lifestyle, not just filters. answer a short quiz, swipe through matched pets, and connect with shelters directly through the app.
yes, completely free. matching, swiping, and connecting with shelters cost nothing. the only optional purchases are Paw Points for boosting pets and a small fee if you list a pet for rehoming.
pawd. is currently in development and coming soon to the App Store. sign up on the homepage to be notified the moment we launch.
pawd. works across the US. enter your zip code and it surfaces adoptable pets near you from shelters in your area.
about adoption
pawd. matches pets to your personality and lifestyle rather than just letting you browse filters. it's personality-first — the app learns what you're looking for and surfaces pets that actually fit your life, not just your breed preference.
tap any pet card to view their full profile, then tap "inquire" to send your adoption profile directly to the shelter. your lifestyle details are automatically attached so shelters can review you faster.
yes. pawd. pulls live data from rescue organizations and updates regularly. each listing shows the shelter name, location, and contact info.
paw points & donations
watch a short rewarded ad → earn 10 Paw Points. swipe up on a pet you love → spend 10 points to boost their visibility in the feed, helping them get seen by more potential adopters. points can also be purchased directly in the app.
tap "donate" on any shelter profile. pawd. connects you directly to that shelter's own donation page, or matches them on every.org. 100% of what you give reaches the shelter — pawd. never processes or takes a cut.
no. donations are completed entirely on every.org's platform or on the shelter's own site. pawd. never touches the money.
you choose. tap "donate" on any shelter and pawd. connects you directly to that specific shelter — either their own donation page or their matched nonprofit on every.org. you always know exactly where your money is going.
trust & safety
yes. pawd. uses Supabase with row-level security and never sells your personal data. see our privacy policy for full details.
shelters are sourced from established rescue networks. shelter-managed listings go through a verification process before appearing in the feed.
yes. private rehoming listings are available for a small fee. pawd. strictly prohibits the sale of animals — rehoming only.
